Refund policy
Tuition:
1. Tuition is nonrefundable nor transferable. Installments owed are a financial commitment between the student and studio. Should the student discontinue his/her session, any remaining balance is still owed.
2. The student is registered when tuition is paid, and he/she is expected in class on the date that is agreed upon. Our classes are consecutive weeks.
3. Tuition is due before the class begins; oftentimes due to classes selling out, we recommend students register as soon as possible to reserve their spot in class. If tuition is not paid before the beginning of the first class, the student may not enroll or participate.
4. For students on the Installment Plan, the student authorizes ASoOC to run the payment owed on the date(s) specified. Therefore, we must receive your signed Authorization Form before the 1st class. Without this Authorization form, you have not reserved your spot in class and may lose it (at which point we would refund the first installment.) When ASoOC hasn’t used the payment method (CC or bank account) before, ASoOC will verify connectivity by charging $1. Once the funds are received, the connectivity is confirmed and $1 will be refunded to the student.
5. Late Installments, if an installment is not paid on time, there is a one week grace period. After which, there is a $20 late fee for each subsequent week the payment is not received.
6. Tuition may be paid by using the Online store or by requesting an invoice. We also accept payments over the phone or at the studio. Cash and check are also welcome. Checks can be mailed to the studio address, and cash must be submitted in person.
7. Enrolling for a course is a commitment; thus, tuition cannot be transferred to later months. If the student misses classes he or she will not be refunded. No exceptions.
8. If checks bounce or there is any issue with payment after the deadline, a $20 late fee is added to the amount due. At this point, until payment is made, the student is not permitted into class.
