Collection: Adult Acting Technique

Seven Pillars Acting, taught at Actor’s Studio of Orange County, is a professional technique for the modern actor. Beginning Acting for Adults is broken into two sections: Living Truthfully and Reality of Doing. LIVING TRUTHFULLY focuses on the Pillars of Contact, Circumstance, Meaning and Emotional Life, also called Pillars 1-4, and REALITY OF DOING focuses in on Objective, Action and Physical Life, which are Pillars 5-7. Both sections make up two halves of one whole, equipping the actor with all the tools he needs to act. Actors often take both sets of Pillars at once, otherwise they can be taken in any order when beginning training.
