IN PERSON WORKSHOP

As a talent manager at MC Management in Beverly Hills, Jacob sees it all and knows it all when it comes to how to get a manager, how to nurture that relationship successfully, and, most importantly, how to book exciting, rewarding work. Clients at MC Management have major roles in innumerable movies and network television, and they've been in the industry for over 20 years, so in this workshop at the studio, Jacob will speak on how to work best with management and all the ins and outs of the industry. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time for Q&A, so prepare your questions! This workshop is a great choice for those wanting to learn how to gain representation and get started in the industry.

As always, this workshop is educational in nature. There is no promise of employment or opportunity. Jacob will not be accepting headshots or resumes through the studio, yet students will be able to request Jacob's contact information at the end of the session.

For this workshop, please prepare a 1-2 page scene (comedic or dramatic) to present to Jacob, and also any questions that you would like to ask in a Q&A. Also, feel free to bring a headshot and resume for feedback by Jacob. Please email Kristen at kristen@asooc.com by 12pm on Friday, April 5th with your script.

COVID 19 NOTE:
10/16/23: Update regarding Covid policies at ASOOC:

1) We will NO LONGER be requiring vaccination for any ASOOC students

2) Masks are NO LONGER required in studio classes

Please see full policy below.
As of October 16th, 2023, our masking policy AND our vaccination policy is NO LONGER in effect.

- Students now have the choice whether they would like to attend class without wearing a mask, or if they would like to continue wearing one due to personal choice.

- Vaccine cards will no longer be checked, but we do still encourage vaccination when applicable.
In the case that you become ill or are tested positive for COVID, we would also like to remind you that every class has a Zoom option where you can attend virtually for the day. Please do not hesitate to use that option if you feel that you are sick, if you believe you have been exposed to COVID, or are currently in isolation.
Given the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, the studio may need to make decisions about the safety of its students by moving an in-person class online. Students registering for classes acknowledge this possibility and agree to transfer the class if/when the studio makes that determination. Students may not receive a refund or a transfer of credits in such an event.

PAYMENT DISCLOSURE
As always, there are no returns or transfers. Tuition reserves your spot in class; all classes fill up, so this is the only way to confirm your spot. Tuition is non-refundable nor transferrable, as class is a commitment to yourself, your scene partner, your instructor and the collective.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
All health related absences will be excused, with or without a doctors note. Our nonrefundable tuition policy will stand; however, if you are unable to complete the course due to illness, we are willing to transfer tuition to another class in the following semester. If you are concerned about attending class in person, we will offer online attendance (via video call.) *This attendance policy is temporary, going into effect as of Winter 2020 semester. This policy is subject to change.
