In this very special industry workshop, our owner and founder of the Actor's Studio of Orange County, Sonya Cooke, will be joining us via Zoom to lead a masterclass in all things acting. Sonya's extensive experience in the industry will provide students with thoughtful, expert feedback on their work. Sonya's accomplishments are vast, including but not limited to being the Assistant Professor of Acting and Head of Undergraduate Performance at Louisiana State University, working consistently in film, television, and theatre, and creating the acting technique spreading across the country, Seven Pillars Acting. This workshop is a very rare opportunity to work with Sonya herself, so this will not be a workshop to miss!

For this workshop, please prepare a 1-2 page scene from a film (comedy or drama) OR a 1-2 minute monologue. A reader will be provided if choosing a scene. Please email Kristen at kristen@asooc.com by 12pm on Friday, June 24th with your script or monologue.

PAYMENT DISCLOSURE

As always, there are no returns or transfers. Tuition reserves your spot in class; all classes fill up, so this is the only way to confirm your spot. Tuition is non-refundable nor transferrable, as class is a commitment to yourself, your scene partner, your instructor and the collective.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

All health related absences will be excused, with or without a doctors note. Our nonrefundable tuition policy will stand; however, if you are unable to complete the course due to illness, we are willing to transfer tuition to another class in the following semester. If you are concerned about attending class in person, we will offer online attendance (via video call.) *This attendance policy is temporary, going into effect as of Winter 2020 semester. This policy is subject to change.
