Acting on camera requires more than just acting skills. It is a technical art form that all actors in training should learn. Over 8 weeks, students will study set-ups and shots, learn how to interpret film scripts, understand the advantages and disadvantages to acting on camera and, most importantly, learn how to use the lens to tell clear stories. Scenes will be taped every week and watched back for critique and improvement. Students will leave the class with a clear and comfortable grasp of how to act on-camera. Note: In order to receive the footage that is shot in this course, one of our film packages must be additionally purchased (either the Editing package or Raw Footage add-on).
