What better way to get a deep insight on the biz than from a head agent herself? Get all the need-to-know info vital for any actor straight from the source in this workshop led by the owner and head agent of The Library Agency, Julia Irzyk. Julia is extremely well versed in the world of tv and film, having worked in casting for 6 years before becoming an agent 7 years ago. In this workshop, Julia will go over all the practical basics needed for success- from headshots to reels, finding an agent to self taping, and more! Students will also be able to showcase their skills by presenting their own work for feedback, and the workshop will conclude with a Q&A. Just a year ago, Julia signed two of our actors. This is not a workshop to miss!

For this workshop, please prepare a comedic scene or monologue, 1-2 pages max, from television or film. Please email Kristen at kristen@asooc.com by 12pm on Friday, July 16th with your script.

As always, this workshop is educational in nature. There is no promise of employment or opportunity. Julia will not be accepting headshots or resumes through the studio, yet students will be able to request Julia's contact information at the end of the session.
