Beginning Acting on Film

 Wednesdays, 2pm - 4:30pm, 8 weeks

March 18th - May 6th

Instructed by Thomas Varga

This Beginning Acting on Film course is a perfect fit for anyone looking to receive the beginning stages of their actor training, work on an individualized scene chosen for them, and get some experience in front of the camera! Over the first 4 weeks, you will receive a crash course in 4 of our pillars - Contact, Circumstances, Objectives, and Actions. You will then apply these pillars to a scene chosen for you to craft a character and performance based in solid acting technique. The last 4 weeks will consist of rehearsal and filming of the scenes you have crafted! You may also choose to have your scene edited for you to watch your performance put together, or take home your raw footage to see the whole process take place. If you are interested in learning some acting fundamentals and experiencing what it is like in front of the camera, this is the perfect intro course for you!

***Please note: this course does not apply to the advancement through the Pillars System. This course is designed to give individuals introductory actor training and beginning level on camera experience.***

Tuition: $410 or 2 installments of $210

Full Editing: $200

Raw Footage: $50
